After the runaway success of The Cambridge Curry Community, we have decided to expand and start covering all aspects of the Cambridge foodie scene. 

For a city of little over 100,000 people, Cambridge punches well above its weight for diverse and authentic restaurants. We really are spoiled for choice and just when you think you have discovered it all, more pop up!

So, please join me in exploring all the fantastic and interesting cuisine Cambridgeshire has to offer!

 A huge congratulations to Mo Maliks for absolutely smashing out Cambridge Foodies end of year poll! The door to ecstasy!  Mo Maliks has not been on the scene long but has already taken the city by storm providing high-quality Indian cuisine from Orchard Park. It has been duly needed too, with North Cambridge suffering from a deficit of high-quality Indian and Bangladeshi restaurants for some time. Winning with a whopping 32 votes, Mo Maliks absolutely destroyed the competition, beating Mitchellin star restaurant Restaurant 22 (24 votes), MJP @ The Shepards (12 votes), and The Banna Leaf on Milton Road (10 votes). But why do we love Mo Maliks? Scott's - Mill Road

I had the pleasure of trying Scott's famous brunch on Mill Road recently. I have walked past this place dozens of times since it has opened (which has been for a while now) but I have never really noticed it until someone recommended I try it. Scott's has replaced the old Golden Curry restaurant opposite the Mill Road Butcher and has been a place I've wanted to try for some time now. Scott's is well known for its "bottomless brunches" which offer a selection of different dishes, including an unlimited supply of alcoholic beverages while you eat (yes, including beer!). The brunch is £35 per head and is limited to 90 minutes, so watch out as this can lead to a very quick and messy level of intoxication if you are desperate to get your money's worth.
